Together with Doris Blackburn Preschool, DKM Psychology is hosting an evening information session for parents and educators curious about neurodiversity in children. We aim to provide foundational knowledge that can be adapted into your parenting and teaching.

This session also allows both educators and parents to better understand the challenges faced by children at home and at school, as well as the challenges by those taking care of them!

  • Defining neurodiversity

  • Types of neurodiversity (ADHD, Autism, Specific Learning Disorder)

  • Identifying neurodiversity in behaviour

  • Understanding the Neuroaffirming paradigm

  • Neuroaffirming strategies that could be implemented in your home and classroom
