charlie haddad
Charlie is a compassionate and experienced Social Worker and Counsellor, currently completing endorsement as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker. Committed to safety, equity, and empowerment, Charlie provides strengths-based, trauma-informed therapy tailored to each client’s unique experiences. He offers a non-judgemental space where clients can explore concerns related to gender, sexuality, identity, and mental health—without pathologising their experiences. Rooted in inclusivity and understanding, Charlie is dedicated to supporting BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan, helping them navigate challenges and embrace their authentic selves.
Please note that for all clients aged 17 and younger, a parent session is required as the initial appointment. This allows Charles to obtain developmental history of the client and to understand the presenting concerns from a parent's perspective. Teenage clients can attend the initial session but this will be split into two halves; first half parent and Charles and second half client/client and parent with Charles.

Therapy Style
Charlie’s therapeutic approach prioritises understanding the biopsychosocial factors shaping his clients’ experiences, recognising that challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, identity, and relationship difficulties are often responses to external pressures and systemic influences—not personal shortcomings.
By separating the problem from the person, Charlie helps clients explore both their inner world and the broader societal factors affecting their wellbeing. His collaborative, evidence-based approach is tailored to each individual’s unique strengths and needs, ensuring therapy is culturally responsive, affirming, and empowering.
With a focus on validation, resilience-building, and long-term wellbeing, Charlie supports clients in navigating life’s challenges while deepening their understanding of the systems that shape their experiences.
Fees
The fee to see Charles for therapeutic intervention is $150 per session. His fee does not attract a Medicare rebate. NDIS participants are billed at the maximum recommended rate.
