Erin Mcsheffrey

Erin is a provisional psychologist, completing a Master in Clinical Psychology this year. She provides a compassionate, evidence-based approach to therapy and assessment for children, adolescents, and adults. Using strategies from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness Self-Compassion, Erin works collaboratively with her clients to promote resilience, insight, and wellbeing.

Erin is available for individual therapy, and diagnostic assessment (ADHD, Autism) for young children, teens, and adults.

Please note that for all clients aged 17 and younger, a parent session is required as the initial appointment. This allows Erin to obtain developmental history of the client and to understand the presenting concerns from a parent's perspective.

Teenage clients can attend the initial session but this will be split into two halves; first half parent and Erin and second half client/client and parent with Erin.

Erin will be available for appointments from the week of 27th January, 2025
