Laura Broadbent
Laura is a provisional psychologist with experience in comprehensive assessments and interventions for a range of presentations across the lifespan. She is dedicated to supporting people in developing a full understanding of their experiences, and is particularly passionate about supporting child and adolescent populations, and neurodivergent individuals of all ages. Laura’s approach to therapy is tailored to the needs of the individual, and prioritises building a warm, non-judgemental space to collaboratively build self-awareness and improved mental wellbeing. Laura is currently completing the final year of a Master of Clinical Psychology degree at La Trobe University.
Laura is available for individual therapy, and diagnostic assessment (ADHD, Autism) for young children, teens, and adults.
Please note that for all clients aged 17 and younger, a parent session is required as the initial appointment. This allows Laura to obtain developmental history of the client and to understand the presenting concerns from a parent's perspective.
Teenage clients can attend the initial session but this will be split into two halves; first half parent and Laura and second half client/client and parent with Laura.
Laura will be available for appointments from the week of 27th January, 2025
